Searching Guidez
Guidez has two kinds of search: across everything, and inside one map.
Search across Guidez
Section titled “Search across Guidez”
The search field on Explore (and in the top bar on the web) covers destinations, creators, and maps by name. Start typing and results group by type. On the web, results open as a flat grid at web.guidez.app/search.
Use it when you know what you are looking for, for example a city you are about to visit or a creator whose maps you want.
Search inside a map
Section titled “Search inside a map”When you have a map open, the search field under the map name searches only that map’s places. It shows matches as a list, works alongside the category and priority filters, and never clears your filters. See Using a creator’s map.
- Search matches names, not full text. Searching “sunset” finds a place called “Sunset Point”, not every place with a nice view.
- On mobile, focusing search expands it and hides the filters so the keyboard never covers results.
- Clear the field or tap the back chevron to return to browsing.
